    Reasonable Bar Prices

What do you think are reasonable bar prices for this years BTAC? Not talking major NYC or Vegas bars, just decent whiskey bars. What price would be too much for you to pay if you had no access to the line otherwise?

More than $12, less than $20.

One nice place in Lexington has them at $18 for 2 oz pours. But if you stop in at Liquor Barn, you can sample some BTAC (and they had each one) for $5/oz. Not too bad, IMO.

I only go to bars with folks who still have an expense account.

I think 25% of what the bar had to pay for the bottle is reasonable for a 2 oz pour, at least for bottles that cost in the $50 to $100 range.

    That's what I charge.

I had a WLW '11 a couple months ago at a bar in Chicago for $12. Last 1.5oz in the bottle.

Both of my locals have the Stagg for $10. I can drink these at that price

    Re: Reasonable Bar Prices

I typically see $15-20 as reasonable for those pours.
