I feel stupid, but

I mean no disrespect to any serious bourbon afficionados, but I know nothing about bourbon and very little about alcohol in general. I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. In the movie "Out of Sight," with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, when she orders, "Bourbon, water back," what is she ordering?

Welcome to the forum! The only stupid question here is the one that isn't asked.

I believe Jennifer is ordering a shot of bourbon with a glass of water as a chaser.

Now that you have Jennifer's image in my mind, I think I'll drink a shot of bourbon and chase it with a cold shower [IMG]/wwwthreads/images/wink.gif[/IMG].

And some of us "bourbon afficionados" sometimes drink our bourbon with Diet Sprite.
