That was my first thought as well then I realized 4R is blending to please the most customers possible and I'm blending just to suit myself.

Oh I don't now about all 10 recipes in the same vatting, but it'd be fun to mix & match with so many options to suit my taste.

A fool's errand? Would be very interested in anyone's vatting that might re-create something close to the old 101 ... I've never had it so I don't have a point of reference to compare to ...

I know I posted in the vatting thread about this one once, but I'll share it again. I once did a vatting of WTRR 10/90 and WTRB, using a 1:1 ratio. The result was pretty darn tasty. IMHO, It had a very nice resemblance to the old WTRR 10/101. YMMV.

give it time, there will be something named as such. First there was small batch, then single barrel, then limited edition....what's next in the 'look-what-I'VE-got' category?

Now that I think about it, a 4R SB solera bottle might not be a bad idea. The last pour of different barrels, recipes and proofs might make a good personal bottle.

That might be a possible marketing strategy for 4roses. Blend your own! Not that people are not doing it already but they can definitely make a push from marketing end. They could start out by sharing some example recipes and the masses can go crazy with it.

Very intrigue with this. I have all three open at the moment so will try. I think I can guess the reasoning behind this.
