    Jefferson's Chefs Collaboration

    Searched for a thread talking about it but didn't see one. Thinking about picking this up, has anyone tried it yet? Thanks for the help

    I read something about it, but can't recall where. One of the Top Chef's guys collaborating with a distiller. It might be great bourbon, but it seemed like it was obscenely expensive.

    I picked up a bottle a couple months ago.. $37

    Its an easy drinker, but nothing special that warrants a repeat purchase

    I picked up a bottle for $45 so I wouldn't call it obscenely expensive. Not cheap but less than the WT Forgiven and it is supposed to contain juice aged a lot longer than the WTF.

    Drank a lot of whiskey
    It gives me such a glow
    It makes me quite immobile
    But it lets my feelin' show

    Yeah I read somewhere it had some 14 year old bourbon in it. $45 isn't too insane in my opinion as long as it tastes good. I was just wondering if anyone had tasted it. So far Phil is the only one I have heard who has tried it. Come on Renegator...what are you waiting for...crack that sucker open haha

    I'll crack it open this weekend and let you have a sample. Who says peer pressure doesn't work...

    I saw a favorable blurb about it ...in Whisky Advocate, I believe.
    I haven't seen it around Downriver Detroit so far.... then again, not much of any real note is ever seen around here;
    at least not many, or for very long. I kinda wondered if it was worth the premium as well.

    Perfectly fine but pretty boring stuff, from what I remember. Haven't gone back to it since I first got the bottle.

    Right on, I'll see how many bottles are left at the store today and if there are a few I'll wait on it until I taste it
