I'm very disappointed that my local county went from a lottery type system for allocations to first come, first served on email. And the emails inevitably come in the middle of a work day, and when I'm at work, I only check my personal email every 2-4 hours. Under that system I will never have a chance. Granted, at this point, having tried all the Pappy's and BTAC, WLW is the only allocated product I am really interested in, but I find this very annoying nevertheless.
Larceny was a big disappointment for me. It seemed to get good reviews on here, but after giving it three different tries, it just did not like it.
1. how little 4R 125th came to Chicago
2. how little Pappy came to Chicago
3. how little BTAC came to Chicago
crazy to hear about people getting multiple bottles of the above in many states, especially south and west. just doesn't seem right.
"A man can take a little bourbon without getting drunk, but if you hold his mouth open and pour in a quart, he's going to get sick on it."
-Further erosion of age statements and proof
-How bad GTS, WLW, and PVW15 were compared to other years
-How ridiculous the frenzy was for the above
Going to have to add my list to the names of those disappointed by the scarcity of -any- special bottling from -any- distiller.
