Welcome to the board Elmo! Hope you find the site as fun, informative and thought-provoking as I do. I envy you lour location.
KY (the birthplace of my paternal ancestors) is lots better than Michigan for finding and tasting good pours. Looey-vill is quite a nice place to stay, as well, from what I've seen. What are some of your fave pours? I look forward to your posts.

Re: Greetings from the Bourbon State!

Thanks guys I am glad to be here and hope to add what I can to the SB community. As far as favorite pours go, EC12 and WL12 are a must in the cabinet. The hunt has been good to me this year so I have also really enjoyed the WLW '13, OFBB13, FRSB '13 and Jeff Chef. Still have a few bottle that haven't been opened yet like ER17, PVW20, JPS21 and EC22 so my mind could still be changed; but my favorite by far is the FRsmBLE this year. Glad I have a few bottles bunkered because it is a very tasty pour. What about you guys?

My current favorite pours are probably ECBP and some private ETL picks. Have to agree that the FR 125th is an outstanding pour (unfortunately only have one myself, so I'll be nursing it!). If I had to pick a favorite that is generally available, my first instinct is OGD 114 (although certainly many in contention for that spot!)
