Greetings from So. IL - STL area

Hi all - glad to be part of the board. Been lurking and learning for a while. I've been a craft beer enthusiasts for quite some time, and always loved a nice glass of bourbon. Decided to start branching out and trying new bourbons after landing in Bardstown on a motorcycle trip a few years back. We didn't even know it was the Bourbon capital of the world; it was just the right stopping point on the way home!

I keep about 10-15 open bottles on my bar, a few more in the bunker, which I'm starting to populate with more good stuff. Big fan of Four Roses, Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig. Always have a bottle of Weller 12 open.

Looking forward to joining the discussions.

Welcome Red 1! My immediate thought was "Red One? Who was Red One? Luke was Red Five?" before remembering that not everything in life is about Star Wars (I mean - there's bourbon too, right!) Glad to have you!

Ha, ha. I'm a big Star Wars fan, too. Actually, Red One refers to my current and previous motorcycle. It's a "red one." Have ridden Suzuki, H-D for many years, and now BMW. But, I always seem to come back to the "red one."

Welcome Red One. No two better hobbies than motorcycles and Bourbon although I would suggest not enjoying both at the same time.

I agree! On our trips, it's bourbon and cigars each night as we get to our location. Great way to end the day after a long ride. Thanks for the welcomes.

Good Day and welcome from Michigan.

Motorcycles and Bourbon are a couple of hobbies of a few on this list. My go to bike has been my BMW K1200lt.

    Best regards, Tony
