That was a beautiful thing to watch - well done gentlemen.

Saw a couple of the soon to be dusty Laddie Ten on the shelf next to the newer NAS stuff. The Ten was even cheaper! Tempted but I already have a bottle so I passed. If someone has an unfulfilled nostalgic hankering for some of the original Laddie Ten let me know!
That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…

Passed up on a bunch of Specs bottlings at their Houston mega store, including the Laddie 22 yo calvados finished. The scotch selection was actually smaller than the Dallas store I was at a few weeks ago.
Douglas Port Ellen 27 (March 1983-Feb 2011, Cask 7000) for $342. While I realize this is likely one of the last times I will see Port Ellen in a store for under $500 a bottle, I just can't pull the trigger . . .
Compass Box The General for $300ish, maybe $350.
Passed on a bottle of Bruichladdich Laddie Classic at $66 and PC7 at ~$100. Either worth picking up?
FWIW, I thought The Laddie Ten was enjoyable, but not overly exciting. I really liked PC10 though.
Also passed on a bottle of McGibbon's Provenance Caol Ila 1981 (19yr) at $120. Can't find much on it. Anyone had it?
