Springbank 25 bottled in the 1990's with metallic silver box. Based on what I can find online, the juice in this type of packaging was distilled in the 1960's or early 1970's. Don't remember the price, but it was around $500.00. Very tempting and it may be in my bunker before too long because my brother and sister owe me big time for helping out with some family stuff and this bottle could be my payday.

Glenmorangie Ealanta for around $110. I'm considering it, just not sure I want to spend the money on it.

That is a good price for the Atlanta area where it seems to be more like $120 to $125. I think it is great if pricey but no guarantee you will feel the same.
That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…

I think the problem is that the store I found several bottles of it in has it sitting next to Lagavulin 16 @ $49.99, Talisker 18 @ $89.99, Laphroaig 10 CS @ $49.99, and several other remarkable deals that make it hard to reach for an unknown like Ealanta.

Just saw this - not a single pm. The price was okay, but even then still catastrophically expensive for any one bottle of liquor. I'll be very curious how long it sits around for.

I would be considerably lighter of wallet if I lived in your area.

It's a struggle. My bourbon access is great, but my scotch access is better.
