There is a lot of truth to that. Drink whiskey, friends, the water will kill you.

No bacteria in whiskey. See it's good for you.

Every person, when asked when last they consumed alcohol, had "a beer or two, a few weeks ago, while watching (insert sport) at a friend's house". It's absolutely hilarious. 2 beers, 2 weeks ago, because of sports, at someone else's home. I want to sneak in to one of the interviews with the board and give them an honest answer to reset the expectations.

Last night my buddy and I split a six pack of Sierra Nevada Torpedos while we were grilling, then had some manhattans with that new Elijah Craig Barrel Proof bourbon for dinner. You seen that stuff? Hot damn, 137 proof! Can you believe that? After that we realized WVU was playing basketball on ESPN 2, my wife went to school there, so we started going through different Four Roses yeast strains while we watched the game. There's 5 variations, but we had to double check some of them, haha. Once the game was over everyone took off and the wife went to bed to sleep off the red wine, it hits her pretty hard. Anyway, I decided it was time to slow down, so I poured some Lagavulin 16 and watched the post game wrap up. Called it early because I knew I had this interview today. How about you guys?"

Well, here's the unfortunate truth for me. Had a bad flare-up of radiation cystitis this past week while in St. Croix. I am officially off all coffee and booze for a couple of months at least. And I had just found those bottles of Blanton's!

Here's to a quick recovery. The only thing that I enjoy more than Bourbon is coffee so I feel your pain.

Hey!!! there is no counting in Bourbon consumption.

There is just the first and the last sip.

Besides my wife helps so we have to cut that in half and just admit I enjoy a sip.

Now bourbon buying is another story I rarely make it through a week without buying a bottle or 3

Joking aside, its not just the number of drinks that matters, size and ABV are equally important.
