Suppose I should say Hello (Not Howdy) from Texas

So, I've lurked here for quite a while, and finally started posting a bit recently.

Back in high school (a year or two before I could do so legally), I fell in love with WL Weller, while most of my friends were enjoying Michelob, or Bartles & Jaymes.
As an adult, I dabbled with Tequila and Scotch for a few years, but never kept much alcohol on hand.
A few years ago, while looking for a way to deal with the pain of Adult Braces (Invisalign), I picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace.
From there, a new hobby was born, and I've got about 40 different Bourbons on hand at any time now.
(I'm sure my wife wishes I'd just kept the crooked teeth)

Hey kj, welcome aboard, you are among like minded folks. We've all worked on the wife issue and if you have a new angle please share.

Welcome. I, too, found BT and never looked back. Felt guilty for years - Still can't look my JD in the eye so keep them closed when drinking it. Wives sometimes come around. Mine did and now keeps her eyes open for specials.

Greetings, kjb. I lived in Arlington '89-'11, and my wife did '81-'11, so it's one of our hometowns. I'm still there most days as my office is still there. (We're a few miles north of there now.) Hope to cross paths with you in person someday.
