I salute them for fine-tuning a good product, including cutting the price at a time when most were going up, to introduce it to a wider and wider audience. And I salute them for having the guts to create a new category. Although straight wheat has always been on the books, no one (large or small) was making it until they did, and it's a fine product.
Great new! I really like Bernheim in the summer over ice. Will certainly be supporting HH with this one. Larceny and now this are two pretty important steps by HH in my book. Just wish they would market Larceny better.

Don't get too greedy, I just wish Larceny was available in my state. Appreciate what you have.

Have to give them credit for lowering the price and adding the age statement. Among other things, it shows that they still think age statements have value and they'll use them with a product they're trying to grow.

I'm looking forward to this. A little more barrel influence may be a really good thing here.

Agreed, the current release is just to mellow for my taste.

I'm a Bernheim fan, but it is a very subtle pour. It has to be the first pour of the night in order to enjoy the flavor. Some SB picks of this have been very nice so I'm looking forward to the age stated and PHC versions.

I like it as a change of pace. It's a great addition to the portfolio of American whiskeys.

I agree with Brian it has to be the first pour of the night.

While I'm partial to high ryes, I bought a Bernheim 7 based on what some crotchety guy wrote about it somewhere else on the internet. Imagine how surprised I was when, 3 weeks after purchase, I'd finished it and put it on my list of things to watch for.

I could get into these wheated bourbons. Note to self: Don't call them "wheaters". Some guys get fractious.

I didn't think Bernheim was a bourbon at all. Not 51% corn, am I wrong.
