    Hello from Oklahoma!

Just recently joined and I wanted to say hello and thanks for hosting a great site dedicated to bourbon!

I've been into craft beer since 2006 and have recently transitioned into bourbons (and single malt Scotches). I'm trying to learn all I can and really appreciate this forum!

Welcome from Georgia! What bourbons (and single malts) are you currently enjoying?

The wife and I made some Old Fashioned's today with Elijah Craig 12. Currently I've been sippin' on Four Roses Single Barrel, Blanton's and I just polished off a bottle of Russell's Reserve.

As far as Scotch goes, I'm into the Islay peaty stuff. Currently have some Laphroaig Quarter Cask and I just emptied a bottle of Lagavulin 16.

Welcome to the conversation, soonah! Glad you're joining in. I too, like the peaty/smoky Islay style. Those are just about the only Scotches I can drink; but only when I'm in a certain mood....otherwise I'm a Bourbon guy.
... Except for St. Paddy's Day, when I'll do honor to my heritage with some Irish.

Welcome. I'm an Okie as well, down in Norman. This is a great site and it has allowed me to learn a ton about bourbon and other whiskeys.
