Enjoying Parker's Promise of Hope. I accidentally left this open for 9 days, but it is now absolutely delicious, so I don't mind. It tasted like harsh fusels and wood splinters before, and now it tastes like a perfect "in betweener" of Henry McKenna and Elijah Craig 12.

I finished up my residency training this weekend and celebrated with 2 pours of THH '13 and a pour of Bookers 25. Great bourbons to mark the occasion.

Started with some Makers. Sipping on some Knob Creek now with a bit of water. Still one of my favorites.

    congrats, Cardsfan!

I had some new WTRB after working all damn day putting up more privacy fence.

I told my wife today, "you just had to say yesterday "boy, it sure is a cool June", didnt you?", as it was 90+ here and muggy.

FR125th in the glass. The humidity is starting to creep in, but this is refreshing tonight...

A 50/50 blend or RR10 and RRSB. That gets the proof up to ~100. Very tasty. I used this blend to refill my recently emptied bottle of Wild Turkey Tradition.

You haven't experienced a cool June until you've experienced a Seattle June. Low to mid 60's and overcast for the past week. I'm looking forward to the high heat and humidity of Cincinnati which is where I'll be later this week.

On topic, working on my bottle of J.E.P. 1776. Trying to finish it and clear the shelf space. It's an MGPI high rye bourbon (38% rye). You can smell and taste that "LDI rye" note that you hear people talk about. It's not really my thing.
