What Bourbon Are You Drinking??

Got word my Hirsch 16 ships tomorrow, so I poured some of my current bottle. I followed up that with a pour of Blanton's. This is some good stuff.

Weller 12yo again tonight. Wow am I getting green apples in the nose tonight. I almost don't want to take the first drink and risk losing that smell. Here goes...Well, just as I suspected... THIS BOURBON ROCKS

How funny. I stole a Tootsie Roll from my son's Halloween stash while having some more OFi BIB tonight. But, my favorite is still Snickers.

I bought this bottle of OFi BIB back in July in KY. I don't know how I held off opening it until this week. It's a liter bottle, but it's going down too fast. Next time, I'll get a 1.75L.

Let's see, 1.75L of Weller 12 yo, OFi BIB, Buffalo Trace. I think that would cover my daily pour needs for a while.

Well Gawlee! I had Weller 12 as well. It seems very fruity (like a bag of mixed berries) to me tonight. This one is definately a gem!

Awwwww man, say it isn't so. I am finishing my first bottle, and it's really excellent stuff. Elmer T. and Jim Butler both mentioned this Bourbon to me at the Festival, so I grabbed a bottle.

It better not be, It is probably the bourbon I drink most often. If this is really the case I will have to bunker SEVERAL 1.75 liter jugs next time I can get some.

Tonight I was just in the mood for something different... So Manhattans it is made with, of all things, Makers Mark; Minus the bitters w/ 2 cherries. Not too bad, though I think a nice ryed bourbon makes a slight nicer Manhattan.

I'm going to sit out on the porch with a glass of Rare Breed and a Fuente 858 nattie. Little nippy out there, so Im gonna bundle up and watch whats left of the eclipse.
