    New Member from NC

    Hi all,

Greetings from the Queen City of Charlotte, NC. I stumbled upon these forums a couple months ago and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I'm fairly new to bourbon (at least quality bourbon -- college may have been a different story) but have become enamored with it pretty quickly. Looking forward to taking in the opinions of everyone and adding my 2 cents where possible.

    Currently on the shelf:

    OF86
    Willett Pot Still Reserve
    JD
    JD Single Barrel
    SA 7 yr Rye
    Bernheim Wheat
    EC12
    Hudson BB
    4RSB
    2013 THH
    KC 9 yr SB
    Corsair Triple Smoke
    MM
    Breckenridge

Welcome to 'the board', qcityking! Glad to hear you've joined the conversation.
What do you think of the Breckenridge?
Do you like the 'extra' smoky ooooomph of the Corsair TS? I do when I'm in the right mood.
Have FUN here, that's what the forums are for, eh?

Thanks all. I'm very impressed with the Breckenridge -- maybe one of my favorites. Only downfall is that it's not available in NC! The Corsair TS is definitely one that you have to be in the mood for. It has a very industrial taste to me, if that makes sense...but i like it. It's a good one for the golf course.

welcome Brandon! I grew up in Charlotte and bet you've already made a trip or two down to Frugal MacDugals (that's the only place around that I've seen Willett Pot Still). We do get the Breckenridge stuff on the ABC shelves up here in the Triangle. Looks like you've got a nice selection already - happy hunting! If you have the chance, State Line Liquor has a very nice bourbon selection of bottles I've never seen stocked in NC...
