I have been into whisky now for about 5 years. I have a decent collection and prefer the BTAC collection. I have recently found I love Stagg Jr and have been hoarding bottles for the bunker. I have some ECBP coming in I have yet to try.

Just love reading the board, so much to be gleaned from the membership!

Hey HOF, welcome aboard. When it comes to Bourbon there's no better place to be than here.

Welcome HOF. Have you tried the latest (lower proof) Stagg JR release?
I'd be interested in your thoughts compared to the 134.4 first release.

I knew a new release was coming out but this is the first I've heard of it actually being out. I will be trying it as soon as I can find a bottle. What's the new proof?? It will be darned hard to beat the 134.4 juice.

I see you are from TX. I have a good friend that lives in Houston and was surprised at how well stocked Texas is with good bourbons. He sent me a case of the Jr from Goodys for $45 a bottle. Much cheaper than I can find it around DC.

Welcome. I lived in NOVA (Alexandria, exactly) for several years before moving to Oklahoma. This site is a great resource, I've learned a ton.

Welcome to the Board from a WashDC person. I look forward to your comments on what you've found locally and what you've asked for that they've found.

Welcome to the site? Are you a Braves, Giants, or Yankees fan, by any chance? (I'm taking a guess at what your name means.)
