Macallan CS was available in my neck of the woods up until a few months ago. Now it appears to have gone the way of the dodo.
I have a batch 40 open now which I also paid $50 for. Really don't think it's worth any more than that. But it's also hard to pay double for a Mac Cask even though I do think its a superior pour on all accounts.
I know, real world problems, right!??
North of the border there is NONE remaining in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick.
I have noticed the NAS Mac CS varies batch to batch...some are more complex than others... not to worry about that any longer.
I just saw some at my local store. (NYC)
I found some old CS at a small store in Houston last month.
Other than that, nothing. I first bought it at a duty free. Had I known it was going extinct, I'd have stocked up. It's good stuff.
You guys were lucky!
I would have stocked up too but we haven't seen any in over a year out here and the announcement about DQ-ing it is relatively recent so we never had a chance...
Never interested in this stuff. If it was a cask strength 12 year, I would be all over it. I find Abunah to be better. Alot of Bevmos in smaller towns has loads of this still.
