At least the good stuff is left alone for us. Hate seeing what Rit costs you there, thats removing the value if I ever saw it. 26 here, and the rest of the us will see the same soon I imagine.
Just remember that pretty much all American whiskey is crazy expensive in Australia.

Heck yeah it is. I travel regularly to the States and am shocked I can buy 2-3 bottles for the price of 1 here locally!

    Re: New Rittenhouse Packaging

An acquaintance posted a picture of some new bottle purchases including the new Rittenhouse label. This came from K&L which perhaps has a pretty high turnover rate. Still, it presumably will start appearing on shelves soon.

A HUGE improvement over the last label. Looks much like the original from the 50's and 60's!

I guess our turn-over for RittBIB is high, we've had the new label for a month or two. Nice label, but I don't like the higher price that came with it.

I really like that label. It's simple, but very appealing. However, it seems Rittenhouse doesn't move very fast around here, so I don't expect to see the new label anytime soon.

These label upgrades are alright I suppose, like a woman changing her hair color, but the goods stay the same.

Haven't seen the new label here yet but @ $19.99 it sure is a great rye.

This was the label in 1989 or thereabouts. Please forgive the quality, but this is blown up from a shot of a whole shelf.
