My understanding is that the new 15 year single barrel sherry cask will replace the current 15 year. It's also one of my favorites of all time, I still have one in the bunker from when they were available for $60. I need to get another before they go away completely.

That is consistent with what I've gotten from Balvenie too.

Damnit. Now I need to go pick up a couple. This is one of my favorites. I'll be sad if I can get that malty goodness now without the sherry. I'm sure the sherry will be good, but there's a lot of good sherried bottles out there.

I may need to utilize your much better sources for these bottles. I've been looking while traveling around and the last few cities I've been in (Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix) all had prices similar to WA for the 15 ($90+) and I really want another before the sherry version is all I can find.

Right now I have a CB Hedonism, which I love, and an Ardmore Traditional Cask, which is decent enough for $29, but if it was much more expensive I'd probably pass on it.

Here are the bottles that I've been eyeing lately. Any of them stand out as a must-buy?

    CB Spice Tree
    CB Peat Monster
    Highland Park 12
    Balvenie 15 Single Barrel
    Talisker Distiller's Edition
    Oban 14

I'm trying to keep it under $100. Any thoughts?
I can't see you going wrong with either of the 2 Compass Box whiskies you have on your short list. Of those two, I would lean to the Peat Monster...but, I like the peat.
