I found the recipe on line, it originally called for cognac but I substituted Bourbon. Yes basic French Toast recipe with a splash of Bourbon.

Milk, eggs, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla flavoring and a splash of orange juice and Bourbon.

That sounds great! I'd go overboard and cover it with some bourbon maple syrup.

At this point why not just go all out and cover them with some KC smoked maple and a touch of syrup?

I wouldn't waste the syrup in that case

Made me some of those last night, but no milk,no oj,no sugar, some nutmeg, some local honey, and about 1 oz or so of EC12 SB.They were delicious,my wife which is not a bourbon drinker - LOVED them!Next time I'm going for the KC smoked maple mixed in with some simple syrup? Too much?

I've been swapping bourbon for vanilla extract in French toast for a few years and the family approves.
