    Old Taylor Pure Rye question

I picked this barrel head sign up on ebay. All I have been able to find on Old Taylor is a picture of an old label and an ad from a 1908 newspaper. Does anyone know anything about Old taylor Rye? When it was produced, by who, and discontinued, etc. Thanks,

Re: Old Taylor Pure Rye question

Wish I could say. I'm under the impression Taylor sourced these Ryes to fulfill contracts but didn't make them. I believe W.L. Weller and others of the period also brokered sourced Ryes as a part of ongoing business with established customers.

I can tell you this: The E.H. Taylor 100% Rye is delicious IMO. Is it worth 70 bucks ??????
