posting this in off-topic since it's nothing crucial....but i am taking a road trip from NC to CT (Hartford area) for a wedding in July, and wondering how the bourbon selection is in stores up that way....looking for ORVW or VWFRR or something else NC doesn't carry....

I don't know what's available in CT, but I'm guessing you'll be driving through New Jersey, and there are plenty of places there where you can find Van Winkle and other products not available to you in NC. Sorry, can't help with specific stores which may be near the turnpike. I'm sure someone else on the board would know and will chime in. Happy hunting!

About a year ago give or take I found another bottle of Wild Turkey 12yo at a store in CT off i95 on sale! I don't remember their exact selection, but I don't think it was too bad to be honest. Did they have any Van Winkle products? I really don't remember, sorry. Still, check whatever small place you pass and have the time to stop in, you never know what you may find.
