This reminds me a lot of growing up in Missouri, making runs to Illinois for 3.2 beer when we turned 18. I did get a kick out of the quote about combining getting drunk on the weekend being combined with the continental habit of drinking small amounts more often. It's almost like Scandinavia is populated completely by college students.
