Hi all - I think I remember hearing something about the Maker's Mark VIP bottling with gold wax not being available any longer... I happened across a few dusty bottles sitting on a back shelf of a local liquor store. Are these worth picking up?

Are you into collecting Maker's Mark bottles? The bourbon in the VIP bottle is the same as what is in standard Maker's bottle. There is a gold label that is 101 proof, but I think export only.
I would let this set on the shelf.
