The Old Grand Dad - 114

I am looking for info on a bottle of Old Grand Dad 114. It is still sealed and has a 'lot #' on the back of it. It reads that it was bottled under the supervision of the US Government. Is this rare?

This usually refers to <u>"Bottled in Bond"</u> . If I am not mistaken years ago a distillery needed government approval (bond) to make a spirit that was over 90 proof.
