To celebrate my 200th post I thought I´d tell you about another celebration (of sorts). The first ever book in Swedish about Bourbon is about to be published in September.
It is called "Bourbon - en handbok" and is written by one Örjan Westerlund. Apparently he is a founder member of a Swedish culinary society called the Scent From Heaven Society.
One shouldn´t get oneself too worked up about this. After all, the book only consists of 72 pages and probably presents a very shallow picture of our favourite pastime. But, still, it´s definitely a sign that there is some interest lurking beneath the shadows. 5-6 years ago a product like this wouldn´t have been commercially viable at all.
Come to think of it, could this be the first non-English book about Bourbon published outside of Japan? (I have no idea about any Japanese bourbon books but somehow I took it for granted that they have produced something).
Any one out there who have information about other non-English titles?

) since a search for 'Stefan Gabani' instead led me to the book "Whisk(e)y" by Stefan Gabanyi.
