ER 17, Rock Hill Farms (pre '96), EWSB '87, ORVW 12 year old time rye.
If the sky's the limit, the bottle that jvanwinkle brought to the gazebo after the sampler was the best bourbon I have had to date.

Eagle Rare 101 is still available here. As are alot of the items many of you have listed on your want lists.
What I can't find here and would like to find are the elusive '02 and '03 Stagg bottlings.Considering that last year at this time we were Stagg virgins,
I figure we did pretty well just managing to find the '04 and '05 Staggs!
EWSB bottlings prior to '90 are missing from my display case also!

Eagle Rare 101 is going away. We will be concentrating on the Eagle Rare 10 year old single barrel.

As an FYI, I would look into Binny's and Sam's in Chicago. Brett picked out some awesome Elmer T. Lee a couple of months ago. Elmer always pre-approves the bourbon and when I joined them for the barrel selection, the ETL was great. I then looked at the barrels and noticed they were 14 years old (normally they are 10 years old). Elmer just smiled.
Regarding the Rock Hill Farms, Sean Ludsford selected a cask of RHF that he wanted non-chill filtered. We just basically strained it to get the floating char out. Both are very nice.

If you liked the Wild Turkey 17 year, try the Eagle Rare 17 year old. Trust me, if you liked one you will like the other.

George T Stagg 2005. We cant seem to get it out here in Oregon. My store has a large assortment of other bourbons that are on peoples list in this thread.![]()
The ones I will buy if I ever see them are all praised here, but not anything I've ever seen. In (maybe) the order I think I'd most like to find them:
any of the Van Winkle Ryes
any Stagg
Rittenhouse Rye
Old Charter Proprietor's Reserve
Elmer T. Lee
Buffalo Trace
AAA 10 yr.
Although I have a pretty good selection available in Atlanta compared to some, I think out-of-state travel may be needed for these. "Most likely" I would guess to be Rittenhouse and OC PR; maybe the VW rye if my timing is right.

Thanks for the tip, but my state (Alabama) is one of those states where shipping to is forbidden. Not whiskey, nor wine, nor even beer.

Been buying all the Rip VanWinkle 15yo squats that i can find...
Would like to try VanWinkle Rye..
Sarzac is another i'd like to try...
Old Weller Centennial 10yo from Louisville Distillery is another I can't find..
I'm also hoping to find some Rittenhouse Rye and Elijah Craig 18yo when I'm in New Zealand on my honeymoon next month. Apparently Heaven Hill New Zealand stock it.
