    #s On Bottles...

When it comes to trying to determine where a particular bourbon was distilled, are the numbers that appear on bottles ever helpful? For instance my bottle of Weller Antique with the gold on the bottle has a number in the upper left hand corner that reads I967. Tom V

Generally it does not help identify the production date. You would need to send the numbers to the production department (bottling) for someone to reference back through the records to determine the actual production date. For the Weller in question, I can give you an exact answer; we don't know!
