Old 1889 Royal

I mentioned this in a PM after noticing it in a store and they hadn't heard of it. I had only seen it in one store before and was wondering if anyone has ever tried it. I'm slightly ashamed to say that it's been in my bunker for 3-4 years and I haven't gotten around to opening it. Any thoughts?

The Whisky Exchange on the outskirts of London has carried this item for many years.

It says Bardstown on the label so, assuming that it is HH whiskey in another guise, I have, perhaps erroneously, never really bothered.

What a boring label! Wonder if it's a Weller 12yr. Look at the neck label.

Ah, yes I did forget to state that it carries a HH UPC code.

It's 86 proof, that and the age statement are all I know of it.
