    Pick A Beam

Of all the Beam products out there, Which is your favorite pour? I tend to always go for Bakers. Bookers has a place in my heart but Bakers in the Beam for me.
So tell us then what your favorite Beam product is then.

Generally I also tend to favour Bakerīs. Not only it is always of high quality but also quite individual in style.

The best specific bottle that Iīve had, though, was my last Bookerīs (126, 7 proof, Batch B95-C-31), which was sensationally good.
Delighted to see you if you can find me!

I'm partial to the OGDs, but you may not have meant that in your question. In which case, I too am in the Baker's camp. I seem to recall a rumour that it is the same grain recipe as the other "true Beams," but that they use a different yeast for Baker's. Anyone know?

As long as the OGD's are current bottles from Beam and not ND you can of course count them as your favorite Beam product. Which expression do you lean towards? BIB,114,or86.6 proof?

At present it would be Knob Creek. I haven't tried a Booker's yet though.

    Joe,

I most often have the 114. Never felt it overpowering and has a lot going on. But it is such a good bargain, it's really in the category of "everyday pour." Fortunately, that doesn't mean it can't be a favorite as well. But Baker's is more of a treat.

I guess this means that BH and Old Crow are on the ballot too, huh? I actually know a lady who enjoys Old Crow as "her drink." But it is not mine.

I probably drink Jim Beam White label (*gasp* with coke and ice *gasp*) the most.
Drinking neat, Bookers or Jim Beam Rye are my everyday choices.

I like Bookers a lot, but It would have to be Bakers for me. But I never run out of White Label around my house.

Gotta go with Baker's. Knob Creek and Booker's are great, and I really like Basil Hayden's as well, but in the words of Goldilocks, Baker's is "just right."

    Thumbs up Jacob's Well

Jacob's Well was very tasty. Also, i enjoyed the two hundred year 1795-1995, top notch! Jim Beam Black at 90 proof, those where the good days.
