    Question Acronymes

As a new user, I have noticed the use of acronymes and abbreviations is prevasive. could someone point me to a dictionary or source that will translate these for me. Down here in Alabama, my access to rare and exotic bottles is limited, but my travels will allow me to collect from across the country, so recomenndations for sources of unique bourbons will also be appreciated.

Hmm interesting challenge, I assume the abbrievations that we use for bottling names is what you're looking for, I'll try. Here goes(in no particular order):

    VVOF. Very Very Old Fitzgerald
VSOF. Very Special Old Fitzgerald 12yo
ORVW. Old Rip Van Winkle (several ages/proofs)
WLW William Larue Weller 12yo barrel proof
    VOB Very Old Barton
    FR Four Roses
    OB Old Bardstown
VROHH Very Rare Old Heaven Hill (I may Be the only one using this)
Lot B. Van Winkle Special Reserve 12yo Lot B
    Pappy. Pappy Van Winkle 15/20/23yo
    OGD. Old Grand Dad
    BH. Basil Hayden
    KC Knob Creek
    BMH Black Maple Hill
    MM Makers Mark
    SW, S-W. Stitzel-Weller
    KBF Kentucky Bourbon Festival
    KBD Kentucky Bourbon Distillers
    OC Old Charter
Saz Jr. Sazerac Straight Rye (with no age statement)
    Saz/ Saz 18. Sazerac 18yo Rye
    BT Buffalo Trace
    VG Virginia Gentleman
    The Fox. Virginia Gentleman 90
BUB Butt Ugly Bottle-and older bottling of ETL
    ETL. Elmer T Lee
    RHF Rock Hill Farms
    HazMat/HazMat 2. George T Stagg produced over 140 proof
    GNS. Grain Neutral Spirits
    OFBB. Old Forester Birthday Bourbon
RR 101/ RR 90. Wild Turkey Russels Reserve
    ER 101 Eagle Rare 101
    ERSB Eagle Rare Single Barrel
    ER 17 Eagle Rare 17yo
    AAA Ancient Ancient Age(usually 10yo)
    AA Ancient Age
    BIB Bottled In Bond
WT Wild Turkey( often followed by age/proof)
    WTRB Rare Breed
    WTKS Kentucky Spirit
    Tribute. WT Tribute
    BHC Bourbon Heritage Collection
    WR Woodford Reserve
    KT Kentucky Tavern
    UDV United Distillers and Vintners
VWFRR Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13yo
ORVWOTR Old Rip Van WInkle Old Tyme Rye 12yo
Many Others carry just one word off their label, Stagg for George T Stagg, Weller for WL Weller, etc.

There are also references to some bottles that have been done for members, Van Blankle, BR01, The Fourth Barrel, etc.

Hope this hepls , though it's probably not complete.

Timothy, are you keeping a list? Or was that from memory? Either way, nicely done!
