I usually prefer Jim Beam Black. But when I want to mix sth. (other than ice) with my bourbon, I use Early Times bourbon which is cheaper.

Up till a few months ago, I drank 101 75% of the time. Now its down to 25%, and I just have different drinks everynight.

If it werent for the $$$, I'd probably drink a lot more Bakers, Lot B, BMH.

I see OGD 114 mentioned alot in threads and here. Fortunately it's one that is readily available here. I'm thinking I need to pick up a bottle and give it a spin.

Some of my "everyday" favorites (readily available, cheap-to-reasonable, not just bourbon):

    • Buffalo Trace
    • WT101
    • WT Rye
    • Weller 12 or Antique
    • Old Fitzgerald BIB
    • Rittenhouse Rye BIB
    • OGD 114
    • Dickel #12
    • Aberlour 10yo
    • Eagle Rare 10 (90 proof; the 101 is a special pour)
    • Elmer T. Lee
I don't have all of them in my stock at any one time, though...
Oh no! You have walked into the slavering fangs of a lurking grue!

    Cool

Wild Turkey 101, for me. I try as many different bourbons as I can get my hands on, but I always go back to WT101.

It's a toss up between Wild Turkey 101 and Fightting Cock 103 for me. While it wasn't the first one I tried (Second actually, Makers Mark was the first.) I've probably bought more WT101 than any other bourbon so far.

For the longest time my regular was Wild Turkey: Russells Reserve (101) but then they stopped making it. That was damn good bourbon! I've been meaning to try it's replacement but my disapointment always puts me off.
