What bourbon did you purchase today?

Today I picked up some EWSB '96 barreled on 10-18-96, within 20 days of the fire that destroyed the distillery. I'm not sure how often they bottle this so it might be as close as we get to a single barrel of the last stuff ever distilled there.

I was pleased to find that the Wild Turkey Russell's Reserve 101 that was listed on Lenell's web site was still in stock. I picked up 2 so now I can finally open a bottle of this.

I am a cheapA$$=No dough!!! I bought a big bottle of rum (momma likes pina coladas) for new years so I induldged myself with a tiny bottle 100ml of wild turkey 101 to sip on tonight... tomorrow I will drink rum and coke or just rum... it is tattoo sumthin 90sumthin proof!

A Frankfort ORVW 15 which was the last one on the shelf. At $37, a steal. Spotted the distinct bottle of a Louisville OCPR, but was out of $$. Had to leave it there for now.

I purchased a bottle of Wathens Kentucky Bourbon. I have not previously seen it in VA but came across a bottle at my local VA ABC store this evening. At $30, it a fine middle shelf rye bourbon. I thought the finish was dry and sweet, not what I expected. Overall, a good bourbon for a daily pour.

I found 12 bottles of Jacobs Well. They haven't made this in several years. Some have never heard of it. I think it's much better than Jim Bean.

Bought an Old Weller 107 last week. Still have not opened yet due to the Harpers gold medal I can't seem to not drink.
