    Possible new stickied thread

I was thinking, it might be helpful to have a sticky that we can discuss new bourbon releases or about bourbons coming down the pike. They could be collectibles, new offerings, etc.

Some to start with would be BTEC, the new Rye from BT, 4 Grain, etc.

It could be just me that thinks this is a great idea, but I thought I would throw it out there and see what happens.

I believe that is what the Industry News forum is for. Am I wrong?

Industry News is for dissemination of information that comes usually from the industry or press pieces about same. They are not to be replied to in that forum, but anyone can start a thread elsewhere about the information found there.

No you aren't Jeremy. However, IN is a read-only forum for regular users now. If I can open it up reply-only, then perhaps I will.

And yeah, what Bobby said too.

Well then. Clears up that matter. In that case, I am with Evangelos. It would be nice to always have a current reference of the new "must haves".

Alright you guys, you should be able to reply to threads in IN now. This should facilitate discussion along the lines of your request. If there's something new in the industry and we post a press release, then y'all can reply and discuss it.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks, Jim. That is excellent.

By the way, is anyone aware that today is System Administrator Appreciation Day? There is a website somewhere proclaiming it as such.

So, whether it is so or not, let me say (again), Thanks, Jim, for your dedication and hard work in keeping this site going. We really, really appreciate it.

As a fellow sysadmin, let me echo that as well - thanks a bunch for this site!

If one listened to TheBigCheese, one would assume that the sysadmin's job is to make certain that no mission critical information is avaliable to the employees. I argue otherwise, but it gets me summarily ignored, so I carry on.

Thanks guys. You are most welcome, and I'm glad you enjoy the site.
