I happened upon an out of the way liquor store yesterday that had a stash of 4-5 bottles of Russell Reserve 101 at $28 per. Is this a decent price?

Where I live that bottle would have cost about $30 or so and, I think, $26 on sale so I would say it's a decent price. Great find!

I got 6 out of Florida a few months ago....they were $19.99 + 6% tax....not a bad buy at all! They are now up to $22.99, but now only have 90 proof stock![]()
I have 3 bottles of 101 that I'm saving for a rainy day![]()

Yep -- that's the going price that I've seen for several remaining bottles of 101 around here. Same price for 90 proof here.
That is just about what I pay for it in SoCal. I would pay that price again if I could find it. Only the 90 Proof available.

Russel's Reserve goes for $27.99 in PA, which I'm finding generally has good prices on bourbon, so I'd say you got your bottles at a good price.
Enjoy!

That $28 was the going price in GA, but the 101 has been gone for a bit. The 90 is at the same price.

The bottles of RR 101, I could find in Indianapolis were $30, and I bought all three bottles. To me it's worth $30 easily, so it's definately worth $28.![]()
I hope you enjoy it.
