Status of Festival

Greetings all,

I have just spoken with the bourbon festival folks. They are having an emergency meeting this afternoon (5 p.m.) to decide the status of the festival. They are getting numerous calls from domestic and international guests, concerning air travel in light of today's terrorist attacks.

I just got off the phone with Mary Jane at the Bourbon Fest headquarters, and the verdict is.... YES. The festival is a "go". She says not to expect any international guests but the board decided to continue anyway. Of course, you need to understand that they're mostly concerned with the Gala which is on Saturday, and airline service should be up before then.

Mary Jane told me that Heaven Hill & Brown-Forman will not be at the Gala.
