Yeah, you're right -- regarding the proof, I was thinking of the green label. The white label isn't available to me here in Middle Tennessee. I have to drive an hour or so southeast, till I'm into the SE Tennessee (Chattanooga) area to find it.

Just punch it up and it will give you "most" the info you need...I can almost bet there are many more stores in Lousiville, but it's a start.

Many here are on the trails of the Rittenhouse 21...I hope this helps them track which liquor store has it first.

Unfortunately, mail order isn't an option in our great state. Apparently, our government hasn't figured out how to make money off of it yet

I will be in ATL next weekend, though. Taking my daughter to Six Flags for her birthday. Do you guys have any recommendations for stores on that side of town?

Some of the best things I know of that you can get in the AL ABC stores include:

Wild Turkey Rare Breed and WT 101-proof
Knob Creek
Jim Beam Black Label
1792 Ridgemont Reserve (I don't care for it, but many do)
Old Forester Signature

You'll find the shopping better if you travel to Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, or Mississippi. Maybe Florida, but I haven't tried that, yet.

Tim, you are really over a barrel there in 'Bama. As I said, I found out myself while in Decatur back in July. Out of that group you name, the only one I would spend time with is the WTRB - and maybe KC every so often. The rest make good mixers at least. I think a few of us in surrounding states should undertake a mission of mercy to you on at least a quarterly basis to deliver some relief from the outside.....kind of like the Berlin Airlift.

The only store I visit much in Cobb County is Mink's on Delk Rd, off I-75 just north of I-285. Used to work in Douglas COunty, but inthe years since it has grown a lot; probably a good store there by now.
