I'm currently finishing up a pour of Kentucky Vintage (1997/2005), and then have AAA 10yo on-deck.

Freaking drama tonight. I grabbed an 06 WLW, 129.9 proof, to open up today. Well, I went to a store today which I know carries them, and I knew would have them. The store is overpriced, and I only buy from them when I can't get it anywhere else.
Well, I got the bottle, tossed it in the car, drove home, and then I pulled it out. It leaked. Great.
I go to pull the cork out and replace it with that of a Stagg I just finished, it nreaks off. Even better.
So I get the wine cork puller out, extract the cap, and proceed to drop a bunch of cork pieces in the bottle.
Now what? I spend the next fifteen minutes fishing cork pieces out of my bottle with a barbecue skewer.
I think I'll have a beer. Whiskey done pissed me off tonight.
I am having my first taste of Van Winkle 12 Lot B. I have read to many good things about this, I had high expectations.
The color is a rich caramel.
The nose is fruity with a hint of pepper.
The taste is fruity and creamy
The finish is slightly spicy, but like I just finished a caramel apple.
Nice when the product meets the expectations. A great Bourbon.

Now look what you made me do...
I thought I was finished after a few "red riders" made with WLW SR.
After reading your post I had to have a pour of my new Lot B that I just got for Christmas.
A great finish to the evening...

Well, that pour of AAA went down so well, I had to have another pour - in this case, Spring '05 Stagg. I'm still in a "finish yer open bottles first" mode...
Oh no! You have walked into the slavering fangs of a lurking grue!
Started with WT-03RB.....no weakness here anywhere. From first sip to last, always dependable, always a friend. Finished with a generous pour of the current BOTM, OGD 114, with an ice cube in the middle. It doesn't get much better. I should pack it in for the night but now eyeing that Ezra B15 I picked up last week.....maybe a small pour, maybe not.....maybe tomorrow night. As everyone advised, the Ezra 15 is a bit woody but still pleasant enough for my taste and definitely worth the money.
Tonight - or this morning I guess I should say, it has been ERSB followed by WTRR (101) and now finishing up with the last shot from a ORVW 15......been a smooth, smooth rainy evening.
Addendum: Not as much left in the ORVW bottle as expected. So, moving on to one last pour - OGD 114.......just can't say enough good things about this one!

WT RR 90, for breakfast. For some reason, this bourbon tastes best to me in the morning.
