A tip about finishing off 1792. The bottle is deceptive. It looks like you have more left than you really do.

Emptied a BR01 (Barrel Reject 01 -- one of the 4 Stitzel-Weller single-barrels from 2005) earlier. Only 40 or so to go!

Killed a Old Taylor BIB, Spring 1972 DSP 19-Fall 1982 DSP 14 yesterday. Only died because I used it to spread the gospel of studying the history of American whiskeys. It lived a wonderful and useful life .

This weekend I said goodbye to:

Old Fitzgerald 12yo (Louisville, Heritage Collection)
Old Taylor 6yo (1986 National Distillers)
Virginia Gentleman 90 (Early 1990's)
Buffalo Trace 90

The first two are impossible for me to obtain...the last two are possible, but would entail a 150 mile drive to do so.

I emptied my Old Charter BIB last nite. I dont know if I will replace it or not. It was my mixing bourbon and the Rittenhouse has taken its place of late.
