We don't do that here. Best estimate you're likely to find here is that you'll enjoy drinking it if it's an unspoiled bottle. Please understand, I'm not trying to be rude -- but we just don't buy/sell on this forum.

Again, we don't do that here. eBay's your best bet. It's worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it. Really. (You may well get offers from your post -- but management will be unhappy with you if you conduct 'business' on the site.)

We try to cover this is the sticky and I just don't understand why people think we're holding out on them. Not everything in this world has a known "value." In the secondary market for anything, value is established when there are enough known transactions to say "x is worth y." That simply doesn't exist with American whiskey. The only way to determine the value is to test the water and, for that, eBay is pretty much the only game in town.

Seriously, read the sticky. It's telling the truth.

Well, I guess he's still technically not trying to 'sell' it, but is rather auctioning it. Still, funny.

    That sure is purty, though.

I know and understand the logic why itís forbidden to sell or bay whiskey on this site. However considering the endless discussions of whiskey prices not only from stores and bars but also from Ebay I have a little hard to understand the scepticism when somebody is asking the value of an older bottle on this forum, even if the reason may be to sell it on Ebay.

We're not appraisers, we don't get paid to appraise whiskey and quite frankly get a little tired of people only joining to ask these questions, when they have no interest in bourbon other than how much they can get for a bottle they happen to have.

These people come here asking us for free advice and have nothing to offer us in return, that makes them not members, but in fact they are users. They are using us for our knowledge.

Asking the value of of bottle is not forbidden here?...I don't think so.

I've see that particular bottling go for over $1,000, one time. On the average that one will go for at least $100.00++++$200.00+++ on ebay. Depending who's lookin for it at that particular time I am not a "apparisal" person but someone who likes messing in that stuff all the time

I hope this helps you It's a really nice collector's item
