Open it and enjoy it.
Its not an expensive bottle and I'm sure that it won't be the last you'll see. Worst case you'll pay a bit more than you paid for this one, but I don't see this bottle ebaying for more than $50 for quite some time.
WTRR101 is my favorite bourbon, so I keep an out for the stray bottle. In fact, I found one today, while cruising the White Horse Pike on Thanksgiving morning - a nice surprise on Turkey Day!
By all means drink it - it's the quintessential bourbon, for my money.
There's a bunch of bottles of RR in both the old bottles and new bottles at my local liquor store. All are $28.99. Never tried it...is it good? What's the difference between the two?
The 101 proof bottling in the turkey-etched bottle is the original version. The bottling in the short-necked, squatter bottle is 90 proof, and some here consider it an abomination perpetrated by the 'suits'. It is, nonetheless, the one that's going to last on the shelf longer. Buy the other one.

Anything rare or hard to get hold of is reserved for my "special occasion" drink.
Open it when you think the time is right. It's good stuff I assure you!
