I saw this product tonight at my neighborhood Walgreens. I mentioned it in BOTM but am reposting it here to provide this picture, which I found on Beam's web site.

Personally, I don't think that I will ever purchase these. My reason is the same that I won't smoke flavored cigars, or drink flavored vodka. I don't like things that have to be flavored. As a side note, I consider seasoned to be different.
I didn't pick any up because I'm not a jerky eater, but I thought it was an interesting brand extension and perhaps tells you something about Jim Beam's target audience.

As an industry insider, are you aware of any plans to market a Jim Beam-soaked MoonPie?![]()

Hey I'll try it when I see it. I like jerky, and Beam...... Hey the Jack Daniels BBQ sauce is pretty good.....
I guess what I found most interesting is that they got distribution for the jerky in Walgreens on an aisle hanger.
As for industry insider stuff, I can tell you that the HQ for Walgreens and the HQ for Beam are about a mile apart in the Chicago suburb of Deerfield.

Have they been making the Jerky the same way since 1795?
