It sucks when something you like is acknowledged or praised by the mainstream, especially when it’s something somewhat limited. On one hand you’re happy for its success but on the other you aren’t because popularity can ultimately make this stuff harder for you to get, compromise the quality, or cost more. It’s not surprising though; I can certainly see why it has gained such recognition.
