In the past month I have bought 25 bottles! So many bourbons, so little time, and all based on the recommendations I've seen here (grin).

The Saz is my first rye, which I will try tomorrow. Which reminds me: what is the difference between 'Baby Saz' and Sazerac that I occasionally see in the forums?

The Sazerac folks mention is the 18 year Rye that is released with the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection each year. The Baby Saz is a regular shelf offering that's around 6 years old. Both are good with the Saz 18 being about 3-4 times the price and a whole lot harder to find.

25 Bottles at 1, 1 oz drink a day you should be good to go for about 6 months to a year. But only 6 more bottles to go and you can have a different drink every day of the month. See how that works out?

Ha! Ha! The same thing happened to me after I discovered SB. I went on a spree and bought 30+ bottles within the fiirst month and it's STILL causing me the odd bit of grief with the spouse. There's no turning back now! Wait until you start waking up in the morning in a feverish sweat and your first thought of the day is, "What bourbon am I going to sample tonight?" I was literally counting the hours until I could crack open a new bottle to sample. Sick, isn't it?

Hillarious...same story here! Just know that I have claimed the western suburbs as my turf for dusty's...although I've visited about 40 to 50 stores in the last couple months so I'm not sure there are all that many left!

Ditto. It only took me a year and a half to hit the 100 bottle mark. I have slowed down a bit on my buying lately for the most part.

Although........ I bought three bottles for the bunker yesterday. I had to stock up on a couple of things before the taxes go up on September 1st.

And....... I have a couple of leads on some older stuff that my conscious just won't let me pass up.

Plus...... The KBF is coming up in a three weeks.
