Last night started off with Pappy 15 and then had a Handy/Saz Jr. mix. Boy was that good.

It's cocktail night for me... first one was a Cocktail a la Louisiane using Baby Saz, and now I've just finished a Flying Fish with Plymouth Gin, Cointreau, and Luxardo maraschino. I think I'll hold off for a while, and then try out a variation of the Atlantic (using 25yo Demerara rum).
For cocktails that call for a dash or three of pastis, I've taken an empty bitters bottle, soaked off the label, washed it out well, and filled it with some of my Pontarlier-Anis. This works a lot better than fumbling with the liter bottle trying to get a small amount.
Oh no! You have walked into the slavering fangs of a lurking grue!
Tonight was EWSB with DC and then VSOF neat.

I am one of the few without a St. Pat's hang-over, so this afternoon I opened my bottle of,
The Classic Cask 13 year old 90.8 proof
Batch #GL-109
Bottle #68 of 726
Distilled 1991 Bottled 2004
a very good carmel/vanilla mix nose
taste begins with a sweet, light wood
a subtle but warm finish
one of the better KBD's, void of heavy dry oak tannins
just right for a quiet Sunday afternoon
Last night (St. Patricks Day) I had some Buffalo Trace, then capped off the evening with a 50 ml bottle of Jamesons's Irish Whiskey - my first Irish Whiskey ever. It was ok, but nothing to write home about, IMHO.
Tonight, at the request of my Better Half, I made a couple of my world-class Mai-Tai's and we dreamed about being on a cruise. I'm finishing up with some Old Fitzgerald BIB.
