Another Newbie

Just want to say hi and find out if there are any RYE drinkers of this site. Some friends and I have formed a club we call NARDA which stands for North American Rye Drinkers Association. Our Rye of choice is Hiram Walker Special Old Rye Whisky but that is only available in Canada so we drink Jim Beam Rye when we run out of the Walkers (because we can't bring enough back from our fishing trip to Canada.

Virtually everyone here has a straight rye or two on their bars/bunkers.
You might run a search for "rye" -- you'll find more responses than you can navigate quickly.

There seem to be quite a number of Canadian whiskies under the Hirsch name that you might like (IIRC they are labeled as Canadian Rye). I've heard good things about them, but for some reason haven't snagged one yet...hmm that might be something to pick up while I'm in a plcae that has it...

I'm also partial to rye whiskies, Wild Tuykey Rye being my everyday pour.

Baby Saz is good and fairly reasonably priced. If you want something a little bolder (and higher octane), Saz 18 is another treat.
