Now I will have to do a search for a Japanese seller and pay a ton of bucks for one.
That bottle is the US Tribute, the Japanese one is in the same bottle as KY Spirit , bottled at 110 proof opposed to the 101 proof with the US bottle.

Okay, I'm new to this bunker concept, so I only just started mine. Right now it consists of 2 bottles:

    AH Hirsch 16YO
    Pappy Van Winkle 20 YO

Not a bad start. More to come as poker winnings permit.

    Re: What's in your bunker?

I doubt if my bunker will ever be very large, but I will probably include items that I can't get easily. At the moment I've got

    Jacob's Well
    Eagle Rare 101
    OFBB 2006

There's been a pretty good supply of EWSB 95 around here, but if it starts getting scarce I might stash a bottle or two.

    Re: What's in your bunker?

This is a repeat from another thread but it's applicable to my original question. I've added the following to my bunker (notice the WT 101 8 year)

    Bruichladdich 15 year
Edradour - port and marsalis 10 year
    Four Roses Yellow Label
    WT 8 Year
    Blantons Silver
    Blantsons Gold
    Blantons SFTB
    Bacardi 8 year
Bacardi 12 year Special Reserve (only sold at the Bacardi Distillery)
    Bushmills 16 year malt

    Bunker!? BUNKER!? (Think Jim Mora)

I drink my bunker....don't have enough cash to stock a bunker AND enjoy bourbon. My bunker is 3 bottles of WT RR 101 which I will open for special occasions, hopefully every couple years or so. I envy many of you.

    Re: What's in your bunker?

Oh, I have every intention of drinking every bit of my bunker. For instance, my current bottle of Lot B was a bunker bottle, now it's an open bottle. My bunker is in constant rotation.....one bottle in, one bottle out....maybe two out.

    Re: What's in your bunker?

Whiskey is unique in that it can be bunkered, as opposed to beer, the other alcoholic beverage I care about. Beer that isn't fresh quickly becomes terrible. Whiskey keeps - which makes it fun to have 15 or so open bottles, and nipping from them all!
