    Re: just one bottle?

At Chicago prices, it would be one of:
    • Sazerac Jr. Rye
    • WT Rye
    • Weller 12/90
    • Weller 7/107
    • OGD 114
    • ETL
Naaaaah, one bottle is too few! Really, there are a whole lot of sub-$30, and even sub-$20 bottles that are Good Stuff. I could add AAA 10 year, Jim Beam Black, Old Fitzgerald BIB, George Dickel #12 (Tennessee), Rittenhouse BIB Rye, standard WT 101, OGD BIB, ERSB 10... you get the picture.
Oh no! You have walked into the slavering fangs of a lurking grue!

I would definitely have to say that my choice is Old Grand-Dad 114...or ORVW 10/107.

At this point in my tasting carrier I would choose Saz Jr.

ORVW 10yr 107. A grand bourbon, and the label is fun to contemplate after a couple of rounds. Tom V
