Hmmm. I just made a strange, but good highball. I started out to make limeade and the idea struck me to add some bourbon. It didn't taste right, so I added a few drops of Angostura bitters. Now, it tastes wonderful!
Here is all there was to it:
2 tsp granulated sugar
Some RealLime bottled lime juice - I didn't measure it
8 oz tap water
1 oz Wild Turkey 101
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Ice cubes to fill glass
It has probably been done before. What hasn't? But it's worth trying. And I'm sure it would be even better using a fresh lime.
